 Coach Dave is the founder and head coach of the Junior Hedgehogs, a youth disc golf club that grew out of a simple homeschool park day. His introduction to disc golf came in 2023 during a scouting activity with his son’s troop, where the sport quickly became a shared passion. Inspired by the community’s “Grow the Sport” message, he transformed that enthusiasm into a structured youth program designed to teach kids the fundamentals of disc golf in a supportive, energetic environment.

In addition to leading the Hedgehogs, Coach Dave works part‑time and remains actively involved with Troop 239 in Live Oak, TX. Outside the course, he enjoys collecting comic books.
